Removal of File Transfer feature for Cisco WebEx conferencing services

Cisco has notified Conferencing Support of an issue that required them to remove the File Transfer feature from the Cisco WebEx services on the evening of July 11, 2014. Cisco has developed a patch which will require an upgrade to the WebEx software in order to apply the Emergency Patch to the following WebEx services:

•   •  Cisco WebEx Meeting Center
•   •  Cisco WebEx Training Center
•   •  Cisco WebEx Event Center
•   •  Cisco WebEx Support Center

Conferencing Support is meeting with Cisco to determine next steps for our WebEx Conferencing customers. Until the Emergency Patch is applied to your site(s), the File Transfer feature will be greyed out and disabled. Conferencing Support will be in touch with you in the next few weeks with more information on next steps.
