Webex Meetings Conferencing Tips
- Download the Webex app from your mobile device to join your meetings on the go.
- NEVER USE THE INTERNATIONAL TOLL-FREE NUMBER FROM A XEROX MOBILE PHONE!
- Eliminate distracting background noise by asking participants to press *6 when not talking to mute their lines.
- Shorten meetings to allow transition time between Webex sessions.
- If you can't remember your Webex password, click Host Login from your Webex site, click Forgot your password? Follow the on screen instructions.
- If you haven't downloaded the Webex Desktop App, go to your Webex site, click on Webex Meetings , Downloads then Webex Desktop App .
- Designate an alternate host for your Webex meetings. An alternate host can start the meeting and act as the host. (Xerox recommended best practice).
- Minimize web cam use while recording Webex Meetings to reduce recording file size.
- Due to limited recording space, please delete your Webex recording when no longer needed. Recordings will be deleted after 90 days.
- You can join Webex meetings from Apple, Android and Windows Phone mobile devices. Visit the Xerox mobile services site for user guides and FAQs.
- Schedule Webex meetings through Outlook using the Webex Desktop App. Click "Install Webex Desktop App" for more information .
